Pitti Uomo 108

From June 17 to 20, 2025, Florence reaffirms its role as the global capital of menswear with the summer edition of Pitti Uomo 108. Organized by Pitti Immagine Uomo, a leading name in fashion fairs and cultural initiatives—the event takes place at the iconic Fortezza da Basso under the creative direction of Angelo Figus.

This edition showcases over 730 Spring/Summer 2026 collections, 43% of which are international, reinforcing the event’s significance as a global platform. Pitti Uomo not only celebrates new ideas in menswear but also fosters cross-border collaborations and gives a voice to emerging talents, reaffirming fashion as a pillar of Italian excellence.

According to CEO Raffaello Napoleone, “This summer edition brings a clear purpose and spirit of collaboration.” The show is organized into five main sections: Fantastic Classic, featuring high-end tailoring; Futuro Maschile, with a forward-thinking approach to contemporary menswear; Dynamic Attitude, focused on urban and sport-driven aesthetics; Superstyling, spotlighting experimental, gender-fluid design; and I Go Out, dedicated to outdoor fashion as a lifestyle. Unifying them all is this year’s theme: PITTI BIKES, a concept inspired by movement, innovation, and sustainable design.

Highlights from Around the World

Leading the guest lineup is HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE, which will unveil its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Florence. Developed through extensive travel and research across Italy, the collection bridges craftsmanship with cultural storytelling. “We seek to create garments that are more diverse yet universal,” the brand states, “with each presentation adapting to its context, place, and audience.”

Among Italy’s emerging voices, Niccolò Pasqualetti, Tuscan designer and 2024 LVMH Prize finalist, will present an exclusive menswear collection reflecting his signature blend of Florentine aesthetics, material innovation, and a reimagined vision of traditional tailoring. “Pitti has always represented rigor and the meaning of clothing for me,” Pasqualetti says. “I’m eager to evolve menswear codes without losing their essence.”

International perspectives continue with Post Archive Faction (PAF) from South Korea. Founded by Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong, the brand is known for its structural, deconstructed approach that redefines the boundaries of contemporary fashion. “South Korea is a fertile ground for discovering versatile new voices,” notes Lapo Cianchi, Director of Communications at Pitti Immagine.

Also featured is Children of the Discordance, the cult Japanese label by designer Hideaki Shikama, who will debut a special event in partnership with Japan Fashion Week. With archival references, urban energy, and a visionary lens, the presentation promises a vibrant blend of fashion and global culture. “This will bring a unique narrative to Florence, one that speaks to diverse creative communities,” says Francesca Tacconi, Pitti’s Events Coordinator.

PITTI BIKES: A Symbol of Style in Motion

This edition’s central theme, PITTI BIKES, reimagines the bicycle as a symbol of contemporary fashion values: sustainability, self-expression, and dynamic living. A curated selection of high-end cycling brands will be on display, showcasing cutting-edge materials and innovative design.

“Bicycles are no longer just a mode of transport, they represent a conscious lifestyle choice,” explains Agostino Poletto, General Manager of Pitti Immagine. “They symbolize how fashion can move, adapt, and connect.”

Capturing this concept is the event’s visual campaign by photographer Alessandro Timpanaro, which portrays two men crossing paths by chance, an artistic metaphor for inner dualities, freedom, and the fluid identity of modern menswear. “The bicycle becomes a reflection of what we choose to show and who we truly are,” concludes the campaign.
