Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds

In the delicate interplay between heritage and modernity, Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils a new chapter in the story of one of haute horlogerie’s most revered icons: the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds, now reimagined with an 18k pink gold Milanese link bracelet.

Originally conceived in 1931 to withstand the rigours of polo matches, the Reverso was born as a triumph of design and functionality. Nearly a century later, its unmistakable Art Deco silhouette remains intact—yet it continues to reinvent itself, adapting effortlessly to new aesthetic codes. This latest model is a testament to that enduring spirit: a watch that whispers vintage glamour and contemporary sophistication in equal measure.

The bracelet is a feat of craftsmanship—more than 16 metres of gold threads intricately woven into a smooth, supple fabric of interlocking links. Drawing from Italian origins in 13th-century Milan and revived by German jewellers in the 1920s, the Milanese weave returns once more to the forefront, lending a subtle retro allure that elegantly embraces the Reverso’s refined proportions.

The golden grained dial is executed through multiple stamping techniques, creating a delicately textured surface that contrasts beautifully with the polished glow of the case. Dauphine hands and applied hour markers echo the original Reverso of 1931, while a circular small seconds display at six o’clock introduces a hint of visual counterpoint.

Inside, the manually wound Calibre 822—entirely designed and assembled in-house at the Vallée de Joux manufacture—offers a 42-hour power reserve and reflects the brand’s unwavering dedication to mechanical excellence.

The Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds is more than a timepiece. It’s a statement of elegance, a collector’s treasure, and a celebration of the enduring beauty of form, craft, and subtle evolution.
