GUESS Unveils Luxury Safari Venture in South Africa

GUESS and Marcolin team up to offer a high-end safari experience at South Africa's Botlierskop Lodge Private Game Reserve, blending luxury accommodations with thrilling wildlife encounters.

Following the success of GUESS’s upscale beach club and luxury ski resort additions in Europe, the brand, in collaboration with eyewear partner Marcolin, embarks on a new and luxurious safari adventure at the Botlierskop Lodge Private Game Reserve in South Africa.

Located at the southwestern tip of Africa, the Botlierskop Private Game Reserve is a luxury resort where guests can experience the thrill of African nature and the comforts of luxury, all in an unforgettable destination. Set against a stunning backdrop of majestic mountains and the serene Moordkuil River, the reserve is a paradise for nature lovers, teeming with diverse flora and exotic wildlife freely roaming in their natural habitat. Here, alongside luxurious accommodation in a unique and exclusive setting, guests can enjoy guided safaris, horseback safaris, bush walks, authentic experiences, and spa treatments, immersed in the sounds, sights, and scents of African nature.

As part of this unique project, the lodge tent area at the Botlierskop facilities has been fully outfitted with products from the GUESS HOME collection, including candles, blankets, pillows, towels, and other lifestyle items. Customized and sophisticated branding elements will also extend to other areas of the lodge, including the wellness center, yoga room, and canopy swing in the garden, providing the perfect backdrop for photos.

To mark the launch of the new project, GUESS invited a select group of influencers from around the world to an exclusive four-day stay that included safaris, a picnic in the wild savannah, a fire show by local traditional dancers, and participation in a charity workshop where they had the opportunity to learn more about cheetahs. Among the special guests were Valentina Ferragni, Julia Kostera, Kate Hutchins, and Violeta Mangriñán, among others. Additionally, GUESS South Africa, a joint venture between FrontierCo and Guess Inc., donated to the Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, AWCF, and the Ashia Cheetah Conservation Alliance to support their ongoing work on the Cheetah Reintroduction Project, an ambitious initiative to reintroduce as many cheetahs into the wild as possible while empowering the local community, creating a direct and mutually beneficial link between endangered wildlife and the community.
