The Mallorcan Issue
VOL XVI
Perhaps Mallorca awakens a deep nostalgia in those who have visited it once. Life on this island seems to follow a different rhythm to that of the mainland. Enveloped by the gentle waters of the mediterranean, time seems to stretch out and seconds stretch into minutes. It is a place for free spirits, for those who find connection with nature, the sea and community life.
The Mallorcan Issue is a tribute to the Mediterranean culture, to the relaxed life of a magical island that attracts artists, bohemians, tourists and nomads looking for a relaxed pace.
In this issue we will discover the retreat and work process of several artists who reside or spend long periods of time to create art, as this island offers them the peace and quiet to be inspired and create their works.
We will go into its mountains, coves and lost paths to show you the fashion in beautiful and unsuspected places. We will show you the traditions and typical gastronomy of a place where the quality of life is superior to the rest of the world.
In addition to its wonderful nature, we will discover Palma, a vibrant city, full of art, with galleries, museums and picturesque shops where you can buy local and traditional products. Palma has a considerable architectural history, from gothic to modernism, making it a city with a passion for both traditional and modern architectural styles.

Adriana Meunié
When the chaos of fashion made her question her career path, Adriana chose to return to her roots. Mallorca, her home, and Spanish savoir faire led her to focus on art, seeking to reconnect with its primary source and authenticity.
Adriana defines her art as a work intrinsic to textiles, using threads and fibres as a means of expression. Born in Mallorca, trained in fashion design in Barcelona, she maintains her workshop on the island, a space that serves as a source of inspiration and a starting point to bring her creations to life.
Under the local stamp, Adriana uses materials such as sheared sheep’s wool, esparto grass and raffia, creating volumes based on these primary elements, always pursuing the artisan essence in which she allows the material to express itself. […]
